QLAB

Quantitative Skills Programs at Williams have partnered with colleagues from Carleton and Davidson Colleges, as well as other LACOL institutions, to develop QLAB modules to support quantitative skill development alongside classwork in STEM+ disciplines (NSF IUSE Award #1829135).  To date, we have developed 3 modules

• Linear Functions
• Logarithms and Exponents
• Descriptive Statistics

These links link to the modules on the Carleton College Moodle site.  If you are faculty member at a LACOL school other than Carleton, choose non-Carleton accounts, and then select “Login using your account on Google.” You will be able to see the modules from the student perspective.  If you run into any difficulties contact Melissa Eblen-Zayas (meblenza at carleton.edu).

We are developing a module (or, perhaps, two modules) on partial derivatives in Fall 2021.  We have a discussion of our learning outcomes for the modules and the materials we have gathered on August 25 at 10am (Eastern).  Please contact Laura Muller if you would like to participate or have materials to share.
